TRANS AM TA2 ROAD RACING

Be a part of the most popular road racing series that’s taking America by storm. Trans Am TA2 road racing is a genuine throwback to one of the most popular racing series of the 1960s, and has become the proving grounds for some of the greatest pro drivers in recent history.

Until now, there hasn’t been a professional racing school in the country that put you behind the wheel of a true Trans Am TA2 racing car. From professional drivers who want additional training, to enthusiasts who simply want to experience the track behind the wheel of a genuine Trans Am TA2 racing car, this course is paced to match every driver’s ability.

The Program

Before jumping into the Trans Am TA2s, you’ll enjoy critical classroom time where our pro Trans Am instructors will teach the fundamentals and techniques you’ll need to execute a solid performance.

You’ll then become familiar with the legendary Radford Racing School track during a lead-and-follow exercise behind the wheel of the powerful Dodge SRT Challenger Hellcat. After a few laps in the Hellcat, you’ll be fitted to a TA2 racing car. Next you’ll take a few warmup laps (not counted against your paid laps) to experience the handling and performance of your TA2.

Once ready, you’ll experience the sheer, hardcore performance as you make your way around the Radford Racing School track behind the wheel of your TA2. You can select from 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 lap options.

The Racecars

Offered by Chris Cook Performance through Tom Nelson Motorsports, every TA2 racecar was built by Cope and features a full tube frame chassis with no electronic steering, ABS or traction control.

Each TA2 racing car delivers an unmatched, raw driving experience delivered by a 500+ hp engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. There’s no other racing school in the country that delivers this level of raw racing performance with professional training.

The Instructor

The TA2 Racing Course is led by one of the country’s most sought-after driver development coaches, Chris Cook. Boasting a successful racing and coaching career in the NASCAR Monster Cup and Xfinity Series, Cook has trained some of the world’s most respected drivers including NASCAR’s Tony Stewart, Joey Logano and Clint Bowyer, as well as Johnny O’Connell, a 4x winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
